If there is one thing that causes most entrepreneurs to fail, it's not having a clear plan of how to achieve what they want.
Even if they succeed, they'll take much more time than others who do have a clear plan.
Imagine you're driving to meet a friend in the city where you live. You know where he is, but you don't know how to get there.
You'll start driving down a road that you think may lead you to that place. You'll go and go, and after some time, you may be lucky and find that place, but 99.99% of the time, that’s not what happens.
After time, you'll notice that the gas tank is getting low, you don't have much money, so you don’t want to spend it all on gas, which means you might not end up finding your friend.
What would you do? Most likely, you’ll give up and go home.
Well, it's the same with your entrepreneurial journey. You know where you want to be, but you don't know how to get there.
Maybe luck will be on your side and you’ll achieve your goals, but if you look at successful entrepreneurs nowadays, you'll see that it doesn’t usually happen that way.
Your gas tank is your motivation. After time, it’s going to run out.
So what should you do with the money you've got?
You could do 2 things:
1. Buy a GPS tool to guide you.
2. Hire someone to show you the way.
That's exactly what you should do to reach your goal.
1. Buy a course from someone who has achieved the results you want, and let them show you how it’s done.
2. Hire a mentor to guide you through your entrepreneurial way.
The question now is what to do?
If you're still starting out and you can't afford a mentor, find a course that promises a specific result and get it.
Take action and apply what you learned. If you didn't get anything out of it, ask for refund.
If it did go well, then you're on the road to building a thriving business. Buy a higher-level course for the next result you want to achieve.
When you get to the point where you have enough money to hire a mentor, do so. I highly recommend it.
That’s how you get a blueprint for what to do.
Having a mentor is like being a driver who has a tour guide to guide him along his way... in your case, it's your entrepreneurial path.
You'll get things done faster, reach your goals in less time, and have a thriving business while enjoying your life.
So this concludes the 4th principle to build a thriving business while enjoying your life.
To recap, here are the 4 principles:
1. Have a clear plan to help you achieve what you want.
2. Start your routine early in the day.
3. Prioritize your family, but when you work, you work
4. Outsource tasks to make more time for doing the important stuff.
