First of all, I want to congratulate you for sticking with me so far. We are midway through this course. High five!!!
Back to today's content, the second principle to get more done in your business is to have more hands working on it.
That way, you'll be able to write more, check your email, do social media, reach out to more clients, do work for more clients... all at the same time.
But unfortunately, we only have 2 hands and we can only focus on one job at a time.
Luckily, there is a solution.
You can get other people’s hands and pay them for their time.Imagine having 10, 20, or more hands working on your business.
You can do this by borrowing the hands of others to work for you.
And that’s why you need to start outsourcing. Hire people to do work for you that you don't need to do yourself.
You can't ever build a business and scale it working all by yourself.
Everyone has a limit.
And also, you've determined your why, and it's because you want freedom, not to be burned out by your business. That’s why you need to outsource some tasks.
You need to focus your precious time on the tasks that generate you more money, not the ones that drain your energy and generate less income for you.
Also, there are always tasks that you're not good at, e.g., creating a logo or playing with your web site’s code.
These tasks can take hours of your time, and the end result won't be that good. On the other side, you could outsource that task to an expert and they will do better work for much less $$$ than your time is worth.
So again, why should you outsource?
It helps you get tasks done at a higher level of quality.
It helps you save your precious time for work that is worth more to you.
It helps you scale your business at a faster rate without much work on your part.It prevents burn out.
It helps you enjoy your life.
So if you don't currently outsource, you should consider doing so ASAP.
And if you do, make sure to outsource as many tasks as necessary to free up time for the tasks that are worth your time so you can enjoy your life with your family and friends.
What tasks can you outsource?
Well, the answer is anything.
Chris Ducker has compiled a list of 101 tasks you can outsource based on the role of the person.
His list contains a lot of tasks that you probably never would have thought to outsource. Combine them together and you'll save yourself dozens of hours each month.
Check out the list here, 101 Tasks You Can Outsource to Virtual Staff to Grow Your Business!
I've outsourced tasks like editing, graphic design, formatting, and many other developmental tasks. Not only did I save myself a lot of time, but the work ended up being better quality than what I would have done by myself.
So should you outsource? I think you know the answer.
But what should you start outsourcing first? You can check the 101 tasks post and see the tasks you don't like to do or take you a lot of time to complete.
After that find someone to do those jobs for you. You can hire someone on upwork, freelancer, or hire someone from a college or from your neighborhood.
You may need some time to develop systems and train your employee on the style of results you want, but when you do, you'll save yourself a lot of time in the future.
So what tasks do you plan to start outsourcing? Reply to the email I sent to you; I may know someone who could help 🙂
Till next time,
Ahmed Safwan 🙂
P.S. There are always a few thing that you can add to your life that will help you achieve massive results. That's what happened to me when I changed my daily routine to add a few things that can be done in half an hour.
I added these things after I saw people like Tony Robbins, Tim Feriss, and others doing it.
More about my new routine into the next email…
